"My daughter and I spent a night here after a long drive through heavy and windy rains. It was a great place to rest and recover. I loved our room, the beds were comfortable and we had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant/bar downstairs. The staff was friendly and helpful and we hope to stay again. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the area. "

Grounds were nicely kept and the Outpost was nice for ice cream in the afternoon. The location was good for not having to travel too far to go hiking or exploring. Had a relaxing and peaceful stay!!"

"The cabin is lovely. The hosts had all the essentials plus all the little extra things that show they have pride in their property. The cabin is centrally located between several “must-sees” in the Shawnee National Forest. Just of note there are no grocery stores within about 30 minutes of the cabin. I normally don’t pack groceries for vacation and just have them delivered so just know if you normally do that also, it’s not an option. There are several convenience stores close by and a DG...
