「Room very dark. Limited choice of food on 1st night. Food very expensive. Very good breakfast. Staff pleasant and helpful.」

「Appreciate it was the hottest day of the year however a dirty old fan as the only source of cooling isn’t really acceptable. Hotel is in a great location, little bit tired but the member of staff on reception was excellent.」

「We had a fantastic stay at The Barnsdale, such a beautiful, relaxing and picturesque venue. We enjoyed use of the spa, which is beautifully done, small and intimate. Evening meal in the Brasserie was delicious with fabulous service and breakfast was just as delicious, with lots of choice and was well organised. 「部屋は清潔で、エアコンもしっかり効いて快適に過ごせた。シャワーの水圧も十分で浴室、トイレ、洗面台の排水も問題なかった。シャワー後の浴室の蒸気を換気するための換気扇のスイッチが見当たらないので換気が作動しているのかどうかよく分からなかった。隣の部屋との壁が薄いせいなのか隣の部屋の音が聞こえるのが欠点だった。全般的には快適なホテルだったが防音については改善が必要と思った。」

「出張で6泊しました。朝食がおいしくて毎日楽しみでした。近くのビクトリア公園と目の前のニューウォークがお気に入りです。飲食も近くにありますし、歩くのが嫌でなければ市街地も徒歩圏内です。気になる点としては、床がギシギシいうことと、窓の開閉が大変なこと、冷房と冷蔵庫がないことです（小さなな扇風機は2個ありましたが、1個は壊れていました。）。掃除は毎日しっかりしていただきましたが、人によってお菓子や紅茶の補充を忘れているようで、時に残念な気持ちになりました。毎日補充される水はペットボトルではなく瓶でした。相対的にコスパはよいかと思います。」

「My room was clean, floor boards not finished off under the table - big gap Door handle almost falling off- and key several attempts to check it locked - very loose handle. Noisy in other room - until 1.30 in the morning and then they got up at 6.30 am !!! Staff - friendly and welcoming - No staff any where to be found after arrived until I left the next day Had to leave key in open office area - and feel should be a post box- any one could take the key and go back into the room - I left...

「For the price we paid the hotel was absolutely fine. Lovely leisure facilities, nice biscuits with the tea and coffee tray. Lift’s available. Bar and restaurant and food were good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Sadly it’s all a bit tired. Cracks in plaster around the building, dark decor just in need of TLC but as I said before, this was reflected in a very good price. I would definitely book here again.」

「Rooms very beaten down, marks on walls, paint peeling off bathroom door. I understand you get what you pay for as it was cheap but the rooms could have been cleaner, there was loads of spider webs above windows and all on ceiling. Had 2 power cuts during the night. At least bed was comfortable 」
