While you definitely need a car for transport, the house is ideally located for quiet and rest in the middle of a tiny village surrounded by vineyards. However, you have to keep in mind that there are very few footpaths around and you have to walk on the normal roads if you feel like exploring the area afoot. Comfy beds, great baths with excellent water pressure. Jean-Philippe was so helpful with anything we needed, and made recommendations for restaurants and boulangerie.
