"We had a great stay at Cabana Bay overall. The retro vibe is fun and the pools, especially the lazy river, were a big hit with the kids. The location and early park admission made park days much easier, and transportation was smooth. Our family suite was spacious and practical, which worked really well for us. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the food offering was just okay, convenient, but nothing memorable, and the resort can feel busy at times. Still, it’s a solid option for families visiting Universal and offers good value for staying on-site."

"Much better than I expected. I read the reviews and saw the pictures and I was expecting it to be pretty much average as a hotel can be. It was very unique with its own vibe. My only complaint would be the water closet design. Toilet and shower are separated by a wall, but share a single sliding glass door. While taking a duce, I felt like I was on a cruise ship."

"The property was more run down than the pictures they provide online. The staff was quite unhelpful with any questions I had, they often told me to go find someone else to help. The google chrome cast on the tvs was very difficult to get to work as well - but that could have just been a me problem. "
