「I read reviews about the rooms being unclean and infested with bugs. The non-smoking room I had did not have any bugs present during our 2 night stay. The room was clean enough, not spotless as the floors didn't get cleaned like they should have. We had reserved 4 adults staying in a 2-queen bedroom and there was only towels and washcloths for 2 people. The staff was prompt in supplying the extra towels when asked. 「Shady Oaks was wonderful. It was such a cute place! It was very welcoming, clean and comfortable. The fresh flowers on the breakfast table were a beautiful touch. The hosts gave us the perfect “southern hospitality” treatment. Always gave a quick response to any email or text. After long noisy days in the heat and humidity it was a peaceful place to return to and unwind. We were treated to freshly picked blueberries by our hosts, such an unexpected bonus! 「Never been Glamping before and didn't know what to expect but we were happily delighted. Queen size very comfortable bed with AC and heat. Also electrical outlets. Nice little deck with chairs. Had to walk to community bath house but it was very clean and nice and private toilet stalls and showers. Would do it again and highly recommend this Glamp site.」
