The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.

Had an amazing experience. The apartment is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful and goes above and beyond. Love this play so much that I almost dont want to share how good it is in fear that prices will go up for next time I come to Iceland!

I had the most enjoyable stay at Eyja Guldsmeden! A very clean hotel with excellent service! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Special thanks to Laura who was super nice and helpful with dining recommendations! Will be back!

The owner and staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful. They also went out of their way to make sure any questions we had were answered. Parking was free, great complimentary breakfast. Property is about a 40 minute drive from the airport, 15 min walk from the center of town. They really care about their business here. Support local small businesses. They truly care.

My husband, son (1 year), and I stayed here in November. The studio had a wonderful bathroom with a towel warmer! Believe me, you will want it. Great kitchenette and comfy beds. The hotel provides FREE milk, juice, and cereal for your stay. Oh, and tons of free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for FREE! The staff was very friendly. Super friendly checkin even tho we were late, gorgeous views. Not much within walking distance, but all other ways EXCELLENT!

The property was beautiful. Updated, and the staff is very friendly. There was no parking, so that got a little pricey if you wanted to park close to the hotel, but I think that’s the norm in Reykjavík. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Iceland.

The house is fantastic. Very nicely decorated with all amenities. Beautiful view of Reykjavik and a convenient drive to all of its sights. The owner Sigi is very welcoming and helpful. Can't ask for anything more!

Clean, cozy, beautiful, well located hotel! Above all, the hotel staff was super kind and helpful. They helped us immediately when we had issues finding the bus back to the airport, and solved our problem and our stress of missing our flight. My wife and I just finished up a November vacation in Iceland. We plan to do another vacation to Iceland again in summertime so we can drive the Ring Road route. My stay at Alda & Iceland itself was wonderful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at the hotel & the front desk staff was very helpful as well as friendly! Room was cute & clean. They provided a coffee maker & mini fridge which I stored some items from the Bonus store 2 mins away. I was sad to leave.
