"What a great vacation in Nassau! Beautiful views, the backyard area is so great we spent most of our time out there. There were lots of loungers and seating. The pool is larger than it looks in the photos. Snorkeling at the house is good, we saw a barracuda several times. Be careful getting into the water the rocks are slick and sharp, it’s a short walk to the lagoon to get in. When I was researching where to rent snorkel gear I had trouble finding places that rent near us, so we just brought our own. The views from the top of the house are amazing! Some things to be aware of:There was no hot water from the kitchen sink, it gets room temperature. There is a medium and small frying pan and food sticks pretty bad making it hard to clean. One of the kitchen drawers was broken. There is salt and pepper, no oil. There was one roll of paper towels, and I think around three rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom which we really appreciated. Lots of bath and beach towels in the master bedroom closet. Both mattresses in the master bedroom sag in the middle pretty bad, forgot to ask everyone else about their rooms. There are things that needed a more thorough cleaning like the trim, light switches, washer/dryer closet. The outside shade cover thing was not strung up, it would’ve been nice to have it.Overall the issues did not affect our experience, but I felt for the cost of the rental we shouldn’t have had those issues."
