「宿泊はバンガロータイプの部屋でしたが、設備やベッドも申し分なく快適に泊まれました。 到着がやや遅く、充実した施設の全てを楽しむことはできませんでしたが、ワゴンドライブやキャンプファイヤーなどは、本当にＴＨＥアメリカといった感じでとても楽しめました。」

「Very charming property with a warm welcome center and a friendly, helpful smile behind the desk. I was looking for a quiet weekend ‘staycation’ with my pup to recenter and enjoy the beauty of Texas landscape. 5 stars. The pool was excellent, great star gazing, and a breath of fresh air from the city. Next time I’ll bring my gal pals to kick up our heels and rent a few cabins as a glam getaway. Thanks! 「No this wasn't a great experience, we had to find the office and locate our keys in the cabin, which was fine. Next we get to our cabin, only one bed, there were two of us both men, the picture showed a loft with a bed above another, we tried to order pizza but they were already closed. Also thought it was odd that there was no TV in the room I understand this is glamping but I still expected more than a small mini fridge and a single queen size bed, one end table and some coat hangers」

「The Utopia River Retreat was just what we needed after 3 nights camping out in Big Bend. The cabin we stayed in (Kickapoo) was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed (cooking utensils, bath towels, linens). The grounds were peaceful and scenic and had a nice swimming pool and volleyball net as well as riverfront access. At this time the river on the property didn't look great for swimming (no deep spits, tree branches, etc), but if you want to swim, Utopia City Park has a deep...

「The drive into the resort was beautiful and very scenic sights not seen often in Texas. The room was cozy and the deer running around at night and sounds of birds singing was so tranquil. The only thing was no cell phone signal but as a plus its a way to get away from technology for some peace and quiet.」

「Not as advertised!Double wide outdated trailer. Clean, hot water and heat fine, quiet setting. Ceiling fans in bedrooms were not usable. My bathroom needed at least shampo and a hairdryer. The nice deck is a .4 mile walk. Nice views of hills but no rocky mountains! Upgrading pillows and bedding would be a plus!We made it work but disappointed. 」

If you wanted to see what was advertised on site you had to drive to owners house and sit there a quarter mile away At die abroken down patio with a dirty mop. Furniture looked like something you find dumped on side of road. Holes in the walls remote control didn’t work. 」

「This facility is so much bigger than I expected. The cabin we stayed in is not new by any means and they have newer and bigger ones but for what we paid it was an exceptional deal. If you have an RV or motor home I think it would be great for a weeks stay or longer. It was cool watching the deer at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful country for motorcycle riding.」

「The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...
