"Lovely staff really clean hotel "

"Everything was spot on. Lovely lady greeted us and also looked after us at breakfast the next day. Breakfast was good. We ate at the restaurant on the evening and the staff were lovely there too, so was the food. My only grumble is we did ring and ask to be near the lift as we struggle to use stairs They said there was no lift which we took to mean it was all ground floor. It's not. Still that was just a mix up with communication. We would stay there again. The stairs were not too bad and it's worth a little struggle to stay in a cozy hotel"

"Clean Room, lovely newly refurbished, some areas still undergoing refurb/hallways etc with completed areas done to a great standard. Really helpful and friends staff / bar staff and a great stay. Thanks all "

"I stayed in room 12 which is in the attic. Sounded like someone was trying to get in to the room from the attic all night. Possibly no harm to get someone in to look at the "

"Run down, ditry, old, overgrown, with trash in the garden/public areas. Someone walked in on me at 7:30am. Just not a good experience."

"Room not the cleanest, false fingernail and tissue left by the side of the bed and thick dust on the top of the oak beam. Breakfast was excellent but the table was very sticky. Bedroom front door did not close properly and let a large of cold air into the room"
