A great stay at this lovely hotel - in the heart of central Amsterdam so perfect to explore the area easily. Hotel is very secure - room was safe and clean and staff friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and facilities included all that we required. Would recommend, and return. Thank you!

We had another wonderful stay at the De L'Europe. The property is beautiful and even better as they prepare it for the holidays. They kindly upgraded us to a room with a balcony, which was fantastic! It was so lovely and luxurious and really made the stay perfect. Breakfast in Marie Brasserie was the highlight of my day - wonderful service overlooking the canal and an exceptional array of foods available at the buffet or for order. The hotel is small enough that the staff recognizes you and it really feels like a home away from home. Wonderful!!

Hotel is a bit older and run down. Wallpaper was peeling. The place could use some renovation. But for the price I paid, it wasn’t terrible. Would I be excited to stay here again? Nah. Would I deal with it to not get gouged at a fancier hotel? Probably.

Where do i begin? The moment i came in, i was met with a gracious host behind the desk, who ensured that my room was accessible via elevator since i had 2 large luggage pieces. The next day, the other attendant was full of advice on where to go and how to get there..she even gave me free dutch chocolate! ...
