The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but suited us perfectly, as we don't tend to spend much time in our room when on holiday. Although small, the bed was large, as was the shower, which being 6'4'' was awesome. The room was well decorated, comfortable, there was tea and coffee in the room, and the heater worked perfectly. The hotel was perfectly situated to visit the museums, and although away from the centre of town, was an easy walk in, and peaceful. There were also ample restaurants and cafes in the area. Overall, we had an awesome day, and would definitely return.

The room was very cute and well appointed. The hotel itself is in a great location. Easy to get to from the airport and a short walk to sights or public transport. The staff were amazing! There was an issue on my day of departure and they did everything they could to help to get me on my way in time for my flight.

In de avond gingen we naar Paradiso voor een optreden van Bløf en het hotel was er nog geen 300 meter vandaan en eveneens het Leidseplein. De kamer was netjes en voldoende voor een nachtje. Ook de ontvangst was vriendelijk en gastvrij.

Schone kamer, klein maar goed ingedeeld en alles aanwezig. Goede badkamer. Beetje studentikoos qua inchecken, maar ook prima. Had kamer met uitzicht geboekt, kreeg helaas uitzicht op kamer aan achterkant en niet aan voorkant. Was niemand aanwezig bij uitchecken, en na 5 min wachten maar pasjes achter gelaten.

Süßes kleines Hotel, welches sauber und modern eingerichtet ist. Das Personal empfängt einen sehr freundlich und die Lage ist zentral gelegen. Wer jedoch empfindliche Halswirbel hat, sollte sein eigenes Kissen mitbringen, da diese dick und unbequem sind :D alles andere war super.

Whilst the room was small, it was perfectly formed! Had everything you could want - decent size shower, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, hot drink making equipment. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends

My stay at The Fritz was absolutely perfect! The hotel is spotless, beautifully renovated, and has all the modern comforts, including an elevator, which is a huge plus in Amsterdam. I stayed in a rooftop room with a gorgeous view, and it made the whole experience even better. The location is ideal too; everything is within easy walking distance, making it super convenient to explore the city. Highly recommend!

The staff were truly very friendly and warm. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect — 10/10. The room was relatively spacious considering the area, and it had all the necessary amenities (iron, hairdryer, kettle, and coffee machine). The only downside was the AC, which didn’t seem to be working at 100%. It stayed on throughout the stay but never went above 20ºC. We also requested an extra blanket and pillow via WhatsApp on the first night, but they were never delivered. The elevator is indeed slow, as many reviews mention, but it’s completely understandable given the structure of the building. Overall, the cleanliness was good, except for the windows, which were quite marked on the inside.

Clean room, very friendly staff, nice that there is a cafe in the lobby (I had my fair share of fresh mint teas!) and a lift for suitcases! The bed was comfortable, and although our room was small, we found it to be enough space. The bathroom was nicely done, too, with an incredible shower. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay within walking distance of the museums and public transportation.

The room was very small, too small for a double bed so I had to climb in from the end. The window looked into the lift shaft, the modern shower room had a smell of drains. They were the negatives. On the plus side, it was clean and the staff were very pleasant, courteous and honest. The location was ideal for the museums and indeed the limited stop bus to and from the airport. It was comparatively fair value for money.
