"We stayed at Hyatt House Davis for three nights during our child’s graduation weekend. The two-queen suite was spacious, comfortable, and worked well for our family. Unfortunately, our experience with customer service left much to be desired. We arrived at 3:40 p.m. and found no one at the front desk. After waiting about 10 minutes for someone to appear and check us in, the stay started off on the wrong foot. Another issue was housekeeping. At no point during check-in were we informed that daily housekeeping is only provided upon request. After our first night, we expected the room to be serviced, but no one came. When we called the front desk that evening, we were told that housekeeping must be specifically requested. We then requested service for the following day and were provided fresh towels. The next day, despite requesting housekeeping and asking that the room be cleaned around 3 p.m., no one showed up. We eventually asked staff to at least remove the dirty towels and empty the trash cans, which they did. The hotel itself is nice, and the suite was comfortable, but the lack of communication regarding housekeeping and the inconsistent service were disappointing and left a sour taste during what should have been a special family celebration."

"The room was clean, but the air conditioner was very loud. At check in there was a live person who was unenthusiastic, but competent. Check out was to a face on a monitor, which I hated. He kept telling me to put my key in a slot, yet it was NOT the slot labeled "room key". Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but talking to a monitor takes one star away right off the bat. Lastly, the breakfast was a joke. Yucky coffee, stale cereal, some bread to toast and some tiny pastries. I did grab a yogurt, but I rate breakfast a 1 out of 10. The price I paid for the room (which was hiked up for Davis graduation tremendously) I might stay there again in a pinch, but only at half the cost I paid this visit."

"Looks like this was an Extended stay hotel and lots for people are living there. Every where there is smell of Pee and Weed specially in evening. People are making noise all the time and talking loud etc. I will never ask any family to live in such a place."

"The pull out sofa is extremely uncomfortable. There is no way to get a good night sleep on metal with no real cushioning. We had to put the cushions from the sofa on top of it to make it into a comfortable bed. Please replace the pull out sofa beds or provide extra padding to your guests."

"Property & rooms very dated. Shutters wouldn’t stay closed. Gaps in door allowed heat of the day to come in. Shower extremely slippery - incorrect tile was used for floor. Extreme slipping possibility. Breakfast was ok. Coffee machine needs replacing. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Nice facility, good location. Downsides: 1) Generic breakfast offerings, 2) charging $12/day for outdoor parking in a location surrounded by open fields?? And 3) no housekeeping for rooms until the 3rd day of the stay. That latter deficiency wasn’t apparent until we found late at night that our room had not been cleaned. There was no notice in the room nor mention of that degraded service when we checked in."
