「The room was perfectly clean with a very comfortable bed and the shower had none of the malfunctions often experienced in hotels!! The public rooms were beautifully decorated for Xmas. We enjoyed two breakfasts at the extensive buffet but missed maple syrup for our pancakes! However we were most impressed with the friendliness & helpfulness shown by all the staff & we expressed this on our departure. We will be back!」

「Staff very friendly on arrival, room lovely and clean. I had a pizza from the restaurant and they brought it to my room- tasted amazing !! Nice beds, lovely breakfast. 「All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. 「We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. The location right on the seafront made it easy to enjoy walks and the views, and the staff were welcoming throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the hearty breakfast set us up well for the day.
