「Sam, the general manager greeted us warmly on arrival, was very helpful, friendly and professional. Our courtyard room was clean and comfortable with a garden table just outside the door. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Dinner and breakfast were both plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended for a stay in the Mendips with dogs.」

「A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.」

「The staff were all so friendly and welcoming 🙏. We had an evening meal and Breakfast and both were excellent. Freshly made to order and you could tell the ingredients were all good quality. We will stay again and we will recommend to friends or family.」

「The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.」

「Absolutely loved our stay. I didn't take an iron with me. So I borrowed that and the ironing board from reception, nothing was too much trouble. Really close to the towns high street. A sports centre nearby and of course the lovely harbour with coffee shops and a coop. A great stay. Definitely would recommend」

「Friendly welcoming hotel in a great position on the sea front. Large room and en-suite with housekeeping. Ample parking which is free to residents after you record your registration. Good selection at breakfast with tables cleared quickly by attentive and friendly staff. Restaurant at night but meals can be ordered/served in the lounge/sports bar. A lot of work has been done to keep hotel up to date.」
