「Less than a block from the beach. Very quiet neighborhood with good beachfront restaurants. The host is so sweet, inexplicably met us at 6:30am just to see us off when we would have happily left the keys and let the poor man sleep in. They provided some coffee, tea, juice and raki. Really lovely little spot to relax. 」

「Die Betten waren leider sehr hart und haben zudem beim bewegen laut gequietscht.Die Ausstattung der Küche war etwas dürftig, wenn man vor hat selbst zu kochen. Der angegebene Toaster war ein Sandwich-maker, der auch schon auseinander fiel.Der Geschirrspüler hat seine Arbeit eher so semi gut erledigt, alles Geschirr und Besteck kam, trotz Salz und Klarspüler stumpf und nicht sauber raus. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber verlief eher schlecht. Von uns angesprochene Mängel (nicht funktionierende...

「We spent 2 fantastic weeks in Wendy’s property outside Kalyves. Villa is stunning, photos do not do it justice. Communications with Wendy were answered quickly and the whole booking went smoothly and without any hitches.A car is a must, Kalyves is too far to walk to and return journey is up a steep hill. Also Crete itself is beautiful and requires further investigation so a car is essential.All in all a fantastic holiday topped off by a 5 star villa.」
