"We always enjoy staying at the cottage in the cove! Julie is a great host and her rental has great amenities. We went during winter so didn’t use the lake or swim deck. We spent our time in front of the fireplace, cooking a big breakfast, playing board games or enjoying the screened in porch. We visit Smith Lake yearly and let our kids pick the rental for this trip. All four voted for Cottage in the Cove! They adore the screened in porch with ping pong, hammocks and foosball. We are ready to come back in the summer. We like to rent the cabin next door too when we have a larger group. The docks are close and it’s a good set up when multiple rentals are needed. "

"Just fantastic with something to do for every age group and ability. The relatively flat yard and access to lake via the fully fenced backyard was very nice. Plenty of parking even though our entire family seemed to arrive with one person per vehicle. Appliances top notch, beds slept great, couches made for taking a good nap during a ballgame. Would book again without thinking twice and would consider purchasing if the owner ever wants to make me a deal.... :). Terrific water level even at the lowest winter pool - no effect at all on the ability to use floating dock or park a boat there. Our two small dogs enjoyed the quiet back porch."
