When I checked into the hotel on June 23rd, I was asked for a $100 cash deposit and told it would be returned upon checkout the following day. We checked out around 5:00 AM on June 24th, but when I asked for the deposit back, I was told it couldn't be returned until after 10:00 AM because the person with access to the safe didn't arrive until then. I then asked if they could credit the amount back to the card I had used to pay for the reservation, but they told me that wasn't possible.

Check in was quick and friendly. Room was impeccably clean with attractive updates. Bed was very comfortable, firm but cozy. Why did I rate it a 2 then? I could not get on the internet and the staff could not be contacted. So absence of staff and absence of Internet for 2 days impacted my stay. Otherwise a 4 for sure.
