"Unique older hotel in the area of Indiana Dunes NP. The facility has been around for a while...age shows but the bones are good. Modernization would ruin the ambiance! Rooms are huge, clean, and functional. However, they are dimly lit and dated. The hotel is filled with antiques and live plants...a rarity...but they burn candles to mask musty odors...I assume...as there was an odd odor the first day we arrived. Breakfast was the usual hotel fix it your self breakfast. Nothing special but good for included. Parking area could use some sprucing up. I would stay again if in the area."

"We enjoyed 5 nights here. Everything listed was accurate. I really appreciate Jessica’s hospitality and quick response! This house was perfect for our needs and clean. Really loved having the large living room and sofa is very nice. The pots and pans looked brand new also. There are a couple pubs and a Mexican restaurant, also a convenient store in walking distance, but they do not bring in additional noise at night. Only made it easier to walk to get dinner one night ! Thanks Jessica!"
