Love this hotel because it is on a small kettle lake near the National Park. Our room had a patio overlooking the lake which was great for casual birding in the morning and evening. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Can't wait to see the remodeled rooms and lobby when completed! This is our new favorite place to stay when visiting family in the area.

The breakfast was ample, with plenty of hot and cold options. The pool was fine, and the sauna was an added benefit. I wasn't expecting to do birdwatching from the motel, but it is on a small lake, and there were egrets and lots of other birds very nearby. The shower was easily accessible (my husband uses a wheelchair).

I liked the size of the room, one king bed with balcony overlooking the lake. I enjoyed the sounds of the geese and the swan and it was fun watching them every morning and evening. I didn't eat any breakfast there as I like going to breakfast places in town. One negative was the lack of an elevator, especially with a heavy suitcase. And no handbars in the walk in shower. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here mostly because it is on a lake that is a birding hotspot. The staff is friendly and the rooms are big. Our room had a patio overlooking the lake. Lots of birds. Scenic. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. They are remodeling so can’t wait to see the new look. Breakfast is OK. Nearby lots of restaurants and shopping and the National Park.

There are many restaurants very close. The rooms were very clean and the one person that shined at this property was a Staff member that cleaned all the rooms and helped guests with all their questions. She alone is a 5 star 🌟
