Spring House Inn is a delightfully designed lodging situated by a stream in deep woods near Indiana Dunes Nationl Park. The rooms are large, tastefully done. The property is well-maintained, and we would reecommend it.

Location so close to Indiana Dunes was perfect. Breakfast didn’t look as well displayed as some hotels but quality was good - some things eg apples, yoghurt and milk hiding in fridge. Pastries were good quality.

Room was a good size, bed was comfortable and nice older furniture, gave it a homey vibe. Enjoyed the woodsy surroundings. Super close to the Indiana Dunes State Park. Hot breakfast with a good selection was included. Great room rate. Enjoyed the whole experience. Kind of difficult to find, as the gps was routing us to a route that was closed due to bridge repair. Has a pool and hot tub, but we did not use it.

Cozy room with nice private view on balcony! Comfortable beds. Good breakfast options. Bathroom door was dragging on the ground, making it hard to open and close. We left towels outside, but they weren't replenished. A Smart TV also would have been nice. Overall, we would stay here again ☺️

The place was very clean and convenient for our stop over, A place that needs many updates is better than a dirty place but outdoor lighting was nonexistent . Had to use our phones as flashlights. Breakfast was good and better than expected. I would recommend if they had some outdoor lighting they said oh It’ll come On in another hour that’s not exceptable.

This hotel would get a much higher rating if our room did not have a musty heavy odor that was being masked by air fresheners. The room looked clean. Overall, the hotel is very nice with a beautiful, wooded location. Each room has a wood balcony; ours overlooked the woods. The wood needed fresh stain, and some boards were very weathered. The breakfast offered many choices like waffles, eggs, sausage, cold cereal, oatmeal, orange, apple, cranberry juices. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our room did not have the hot tub since it had two double beds.

I love the location of this place- it's very conveniently located but surrounded by trees, water and residential areas so feels more quiet & secluded, and just a little different, in a good way, from the big chains. Sauna and heated indoor pool were nice amenities though the pool area did run out of clean towels in the evening. Breakfast was basic but decent. Also liked there were common areas for people to gather. This property is older but well maintained and clean. We missed a couple things, like no in-room coffee maker, laundry bag for wet clothes, and there was only one wheeled chair in the room so not enough seating besides beds. But overall, the stay was great and would absolutely stay again. Also a bonus to have a restaurant right next door (Uno Pizzeria) that has live music some nights (piano)!

The hotel is perfectly located near the the Dune National park and the breakfast was fine typical hotel breakfast. It is a very dated hotel which could use a facelift. My biggest complaint was our room had a musty smell and maybe it was due to the hotel being out of power for a couple weeks in August, but the smell lingered the two days we stayed. It was a room with a jetted tub which we didn't use but it was the only way to get a king bed, maybe the tub contributed to the smell. It is a good stop for a couple days but I probably would not stay more than that.

Front staff helpful although wasn’t able to check in early. Room clean enough and comfortable. Breakfast okay. Protein (eggs and sausage ) available although not that tasty. Coffee not great. Great location to parks. Could use updating but would still stay again due to great parking and location. Trash piled on deck while we were eating lunch there. Workers finally got trash prior to us finishing lunch

They came in so clutch for us! We were staying at another local place when the power went out and left us with no electricity or running water. They let us check in early and welcomed us with a hot breakfast... We were so relieved! The kids loved the pool- charming little place. We'll be back!
