「This was the best place to celebrate my family member’s 60th! Being right on the water was amazing! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the beachy air and the outdoor setting. Inside was clean and adorable. The bunk beds were much larger than appears in the picture. If you want a little getaway to enjoy the salty air, I highly recommend! The owner was very timely in getting back regarding any questions I had and was friendly. 」

「Cottage was just as good as it looked in the photos. Very clean and pleasant, tastefully decorated. Everything we needed for a month's stay was provided including plenty of linens/towels, roomy washer/dryer, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Easy access to the lake where we enjoyed swimming and canoeing. A short distance to the Nathan Hale Homestead Museum made for an excellent destination for daily walks that included some stops at the "Bread Shed" on the way to get some delicious breads...

「My husband and I stayed there with my 85 year old dad and our dogs. My adult children, spouses and and 8 year old came for the daytime. This place was PERFECT. there is something for everyone. It can be as quiet and serene a property as you wish or you can enjoy the water and fishing /paddling. Quiet as there are no motor boats on the water and the sound of the nearby waterfall is in the background. The house was clean and very well appointed. Had everything you would need. Grocery is 2 miles...

「This is my third year staying at this property. I have friends that live around the area so it is a nice quiet private space to reconnect. Paul the host is always quick to respond to any concerns I may have while staying. My dog Angel is in heaven literally 5 steps to the water . The beach and people are so kind and friendly. Love it!」

「Awesome stay at the cottage! We thoroughly enjoyed Lake Waramaug and everything it has to offer. The house was fantastic. We grew up in CT and this style of house is very nostalgic. The only thing I would say to others looking to stay here is that it is NOT friendly to those with any mobility problems. I’m not taking away from the property, just an objective comment. Definitely recommend! 」
