"We had an excellent stay! We are an older couple and my husband gets up at 5 am daily for his coffee and we were not sure about the shared kitchen and it turned out to be one of our favorite things because we were able to meet and socialize with so many other people from all over the world! We had some chairs we could use to carry to the beach, the beds were the most comfortable we had on our entire 3 week stay in Costa Rica. Our host was fabulous and she did everything she could to help us have an amazing time. The traffic from the street takes a little getting use to, but so many other benefits outweighed that. The beach is like a two minute walk away and a fun bar sits right on the beach near the bungalow’s. It’s a wonderful place and we will be back!"

"This is a beautiful hotel right on the beach! The service is wonderful, the beach is relaxing, and it’s nice and quiet. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend! The only small caveat is that it’s a bit far from town (about 10 min drive), and once in town, taxis can be hard to come by. This is just an FYI, that you have to plan accordingly. "

"About a mile walk down the gravel road before you hit pavement so a little dusty but that is not a big deal for the luxury of this property. And it's a easy walk"

"Really loved staying here and would highly recommend it. Everything was great, the grounds and location are amazing right on the beach. The breakfast was really nice, rooms aren’t massive but have everything you need and are clean and comfy and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. I only had a tiny 2wd car and Casa Cecilia was easily accessible along the road in Santa Teresa with this (was in dry season though, maybe would need 4x4 in wet season). Overall I would highly recommend Casa Cecilia and would definitely stay here again "

"Great location for surfing, adventures, restaurants. The property is modern, comfortable, and centrally located. Quick walk to the nicest beach. Regular visits by howler monkeys a definite plus! Nice pool, outdoor shared kitchen. Private location. Property manager, Leah, is the best - very responsive and helpful."
