The service at Fuego Lodge is second to none. The pool area is beautiful We watched a highway train of monkeys cross the roofs one evening. Download WhatsApp if you haven't already. You may need it. Will definitely consider staying there again!

We had an amazing stay at Fuego Lodge in Santa Teresa and would absolutely recommend it! The property is incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and relaxing right from the start. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Santa Teresa—so everything you need is close by. It’s also just a quick 2-minute walk to Lifeguards Gym, which was a huge bonus for us. The staff were truly outstanding—super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They really made the experience feel personal. The pool area is beautiful and a great place to unwind, surrounded by lush vegetation that gives the whole place a peaceful jungle vibe. It feels like a little oasis. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and both agreed this was one of the coolest places we have ever stayed at! Breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, plus a great coffee and tea station to start the day right. Overall, a 5-star experience—we’d definitely stay here again

We have stayed at Fuego several times and will continue to come back as it is the perfect paradise. Beautiful place to stay, delicious breakfast, yoga, a beautiful pool and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very walkable to many restaurants, all beaches and even shopping. Highly recommend!!!

Gorgeous property around the pool, can spend days there. Great breakfast and cottage. Yes there’s construction nearby and will be for another year but the noise is minimal , peaceful and relaxing there.

Wonderful property, excellent staff. Ladies at the front desk - Ania and Meli, were so friendly and always happy to help with reservations or requests. Women in the kitchen were lovely and food was good. Central and convenient. Highly recommend a stay here.

Everyone was so accommodating they helped us with transportation and recommendations on food where to go etc.. the stay itself was amazing as well. The rooms are clean and spacious with AC. 10/10 recommend.

This boutique hotel is a little gem that incorporates the jungle like surroundings in a very tasteful way. The level of customer service was exceptional. A special mention should be made to the front desk receptionists and to the yoga teacher. The rooms are very functional, clean and stylish. I would highly recommend staying at this little “oasis.”

Sehr schöne Anlage, die etwas zurückversetzt von der Hauptstraße liegt. Entsprechend ist es recht ruhig. Frühstück kann von einer Karte ausgewählt werden und wird anschliessend frisch zubereitet. Das Bungalow mit zwei Zimmern Nr. 7 & 8 ist sehr ringhörig.

Wir hatten einen insgesamt schönen Aufenthalt in der Fuego Lodge. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit – besonders Ania hat uns mit tollen Tipps rund um Santa Teresa versorgt. Das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich, was den Start in den Tag sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war der Pool, der etwas öfter gereinigt werden könnte. Außerdem haben wir zu Beginn unseres Aufenthalts eine Kakerlake im Bad entdeckt. Nach Rückmeldung an das Team wurde aber sofort reagiert und die Reinigung verbessert, was wir sehr positiv fanden. Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft mit Potenzial nach oben bei der Sauberkeit, aber mit tollem Service und angenehmer Atmosphäre.

We absolutely loved this Lodge! We stayed for one week. It was very clean and conveniently located, just a couple minutes walk to the beach. And lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was provided every day. And the staff was super friendly and helpful! They spoke English and helped us book an ATV for the week and surf lessons. Lovely people all around. In addition, our room was right in front of the pool, room number five, and the bathroom ceiling was partially see-through and we could see large iguanas and monkeys every day! Highly recommend!
