Beautiful culture, amazing beach!

Jättemysigt hotell med bra frukost men framförallt väldigt trevlig personal. Rymligt rum och välstädat!

I recommend reading all the reviews to get a full and balanced picture of the place. We stayed at MarAmar Bungalows for 7 nights with our family (2 adults and 3 kids), and overall we had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent — close to the beach and within walking distance to great restaurants ...

Beautiful culture, amazing beach!
This area is filled with tourists. It's like putting SoHo in Costa Rica, with expensive, fancy, crowded restaurants, but dirt roads that kick up so much dust you are covered by the time your get to your fancy restaurant. Definitely not authentic.
Beautiful beaches, great food options, people are very nice. Very dusty with the dirt roads being right on top of the restaurants so it's pointless to dress up
Santa Teresa looks to be growing quickly. What was once a sleepy beach village is being found by more people. My guess is it will become more popular as the roads to it and along its beaches improve.
I loved the beaches and the hospitality of every single person at the hotel and the places where we went for food. However, the road could be improved and sidewalks would make walking around the town way safer.
Santa Teresa is off the beaten path. I hope it stays this way and does not lose its charm. Over development will take away its character. Plan on renting an ATV while you are there to get around.
