「If you plan to visit Oriental, you must stay at Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast! The innkeepers are so friendly and accommodating. They greeted me as I arrived and took me on a tour of the house explaining the available amenities. The house has a wrap around porch, perfect for relaxing in the evening (I stayed in August and was surprised by the mild evening temperature). I had to leave early morning and typically do not eat breakfast so they had breakfast bars and fruit available for me to grab...

「The hotel prides itself on the wonderful breakfast it prepares and serves, it’s fit for a king. The hotels location is in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Unbeknownst to us our room was on the third floor accessible up a narrow staircase, a bit of a challenge for a 83 yr. old couple.」

「We arrived and we're the only guests. Even Brodie wasn't there. They partner with a sub shop up the road and I felt we were really encouraged to go there for breakfast instead of the inn. The first room was up a lot of stairs. There was a lot of dirt on ceiling fan blades. Room was nice looking. The AC unit was not cooling well at all so we asked if we cod stay in lower level room. 「No trash can in the room, only one trash can in the bathroom with no trash bag. It makes the cleaning at the end difficult. One teeny tiny roll of toilet paper 😂, no tissue box. The continental breakfast basically is just bagel. How cheap it can be😂」

「One of our all-time best trips ever! New Bern is a gem and Amy and Linda have created a B&B that matches the town - quaint, friendly, full of things to do, excellent food. Meadows Inn B & B is lovely. From the beautiful decor to Amy and her VERY caring staff, we looked so forward to each day waking up in the spacious rooms with beautiful linens, fantastic walk-in shower that seems to never run out of hot water, and plenty of space to put away your clothes and stuff rather than rifling...
