"I've been to NYC several times but never stayed in this precise neighborhood. Overall, it's as clean as any other part of the city and bustling with activity. I appreciated being close to transportation options and well within walking distance of parks, shopping, restaurants, and sights. The Chrysler Building is right across the street!! The hotel is clean and well-furnished with a spacious lobby for meeting up with a group or working on your own. The front security is a big plus! My room was clean, spacious with a generous closet plus two beds, a chair ottoman, a desk with chair, and had a fridge. The only thing I would have liked to add is a coffee maker."

"We stay only 1 night, pre cruise. The location is excellent, however we expected to have water bottles in the room, along with coffe or tea maker. A little cheap presentation for such a fabulous location!"

"I’ve been to the dream before for work (bridal makeup artist) and to go to the club Phd, so i knew the ambiance was nice, and this hotel was aesthetically pleasing. After staying here i can say the staff was great and helpful, the rooms were clean and i felt safe. Whenever me or my boyfriend called for something they were speedy with getting whatever it was to our room, ice, cups, silverware ect. The men who helped us at the front desk both nights were friendly and wonderful. I heard complaints about rooms being too loud and hearing the nightclub but we didn’t have that problem in our room, we didn’t hear the nightclub at all. We had a room with a king bed overlooking the pool. We didn’t get to try the restaurants in the hotel, and we didn’t go to the bars or clubs but we did venture out for dinners, shopping, and a rangers game. This hotel is in a great location. There were so many great restaurants and shops walkable. MSG was only about a mile walk. We also took advantage of Chelsea Market being a few feet away. I would stay here again without hesitation! "

"The Empire Hotel is located in a clean, quiet safe area with a one minute walk to the nearest subway located at 59 St-Columbus Circle. Outside the hotel there is always a cab or Uber nearby if you don't want to walk. There are several coffee shops, convenient stores and a deli located nearby. Central Park is literally a five minute walk from your hotel which allows you to have a relaxing twenty minute scenic walk to all the major sites located on 5th Ave. Plus the service at the hotel is excellent. I highly recommend it."
