"Ideally situated with just a pleasant 10 minute walk into the town and the chateau. Good access to main roads to visit other chateaux and countryside. Well furnished and decorated flat in a street of old houses. Parking is just around the corner. Francois is a pleasant and helpful host who lives next door to the site and is is on hand to resolve any difficulties or answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay."

"The village is small and the people in the local shops and restaurants are very welcoming… Apart from “hello - goodbye - please - thank you “ our French is shameful. But everyone was so friendly.. Our hosts, Anne-Sophie and Olivier were lovely. The cottage was fresh, clean, well equipped and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. If are looking for somewhere to call home and relax after exploring the region, this is the place stay."

"Quiet semi rural location in an area close to lots of fun things to do and see. Beds were comfortable, home was clean and well stocked in the kitchen with items for cooking or heating food. Alexandre was very responsive and met us at the property both checking in and leaving. We had a good stay."

"This house has an excellent location in Montsoreau and has very nice views of the Loire river from the upper floors. It's perfect for exploring the area West of Tours around Saumur and is easily accessible to Angers as well as chateaus such as Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau. We didn't have our bicycles and wish we had but the local walking through vineyards is still phenomenal. The bottom floor doesn't have any view but has an excellent and very usable kitchen that is well kitted out as well as...

"Small but perfectly formed. Only lack of its own outside space, access to a terrace so we could eat outside, was our only frustration. Marc on behalf of his mum was excellent. Because of its aspect the house was very hot in the over 30C weather. We appreciated the ready access to buses and of course the Riverside"

"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

The property is really lovely, it has so much character and is set in spacious grounds so ample room for the children to entertain themselves. The pool is a good size and right next to the house and there was plenty of useful information left by the owners to help plan trips further afield."

We would have been a little more reassured about the location if Google Earth hadn't shown a very cluttered area just in front filled with children's toys, a camper and other items, though! Found it a bit difficult navigating from the parking across the lowly light ground in front (uneven lawn). Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Hosts very responsive. Thank you!"

"Awful. It felt like a homeless person place. No AC, No Hairdryer, Shower head has to be held to be used, Dirty floors with circular burns in carpet, no toiletries or towels, no AC in fitness center, very sketchy area, dirty refrigerator, no coffee, very late checkin and very early checkout. Worst place I have EVER stayed. "

"The hotel is comfortable but located in a sketchy area. It’s convenient for three reasons, available parking for a fee, a shopping mall across the street with a small supermarket and a tram that takes you to the city center across the street on the main avenue. "
