The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and attractions. Even as non-locals, we were able to walk around and navigate the busy streets easily. That said, the hotel’s aesthetic is minimal, almost nonexistent, and it’s tucked into a small corner of a building—easy to miss if you’re not looking carefully.
The staff were friendly and helpful, though communication could be challenging due to language barriers. While there was always someone at the front desk, but the entrance was always unsecured. Just a thin locked glass door to go in and out of.
The room itself was quite basic—dim lighting, worn covers, and dust in some areas. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and cracks and general wear were visible throughout. It felt almost cave-like at times.
Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option for travelers looking to save money. It’s not luxurious by any means, but it’s not terrible either—just simple and functional.
Overall, the hotel was very bad. When I arrived, they gave me a room that felt like a bunker — no ventilation at all and terrible humidity. They had to bring in a dehumidifier to try to remove the strong smell. The next day, the air conditioning stopped working and there was no hot water. Because of the smell and the broken AC, they moved me to another room but wanted to charge me an extra30 per night, which I did not accept. Later, they moved me again to a room with a window. I asked for an extra pillow — they didn’t have any. I asked for a blanket — also not available. I had to buy one myself. The night before my reservation ended, the water stopped working in the room. I had to leave very early the next day and the water never came back, so I had to leave without showering. A total disaster.
No hot water was a real let down. The light outside our window kept going on and off 7 or 8 times a minute which was very irritating
The girl at the front came and hung up black garbage bags over the window which helped but didn’t stop it entirely. The breakfast is on the fourth floor don’t come if you have trouble climbing stairs the breakfast costs 15,000 for what they call American it’s not Just scrambled eggs and dry toast. Sorry I can’t recommend this place no outside air we were told breakfast was included but it’s not
We knew that we were getting just a room without a pool or the frills.. had construction going on and did not tell us and could hear every single sound in the first room they put us in, only to put us in a different room after complaining and it was directly under the kitchen and then could hear the kitchen staff even prepping at 6 AM and chairs moving and every conversation the front desk had Which is not great if you want to sleep in on vacation. Convenient located and there is one girl at the front desk that was awesome, but everybody else looked at you like you were annoying …. price is ridiculously cheap so we should’ve known better
There are no toiletries and fixtures need to be updated with very little Effort
They gave you two basic towels and no washcloth
And if you want to try to get a refund. Good luck.
Excelente atención , teníamos el viaje en la noche nos guardaron las maletas y hasta nos prestaron una toalla para un pasadía que teníamos, pasamos una noche muy tranquila, cuando vuelva a Cartagena allá
Me hospedare

Gutes Hotel in guter Lage
Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Central, cerca Juan Valdez y a buenos restaurantes. Tener en cuenta que no hay ascensor y son varias escaleras.
