「I stay around 10 times a year. A 5 star welcome, 5 star food, 5 star service and a 5 star room. A unique old hotel with a modern, clean, tidy fresh feel. The food is amazing, locals travel here for the food. Highly recammend!」

「Great place and host, would highly recommend」

「Very disappointing stay, particularly considering the price paid. The room was comfortable and the shower good, but housekeeping standards declined throughout our stay. Even after servicing, sheets were not changed, the floor was not hoovered and the bathroom was not mopped. Breakfast was poor in both quality and service, and got worse as the week progressed. We ate in the restaurant one evening and paid premium prices for very poor food. The pizza appeared to have a shop-bought base and...

「Beautiful hotel and resorts. Our family had a wonderful trip, thank you!」

「The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the room needed some TLC. The showerhead sprayed water in all directions, the toilet did not flush very well, and the bedsheets could have been cleaner, as there were marks that looked like possible oil stains. The bathroom could also do with a new blind, as the existing one had yellow staining.

「Good hotel on lake spa and swimming pool」

「Wakefield Westgate

「Room was clean and comfortable but starting to show signs of needing attention (worn through couch covers, split pillow case) the TV didnt want to turn on and there has been a downgrade in the bathroom amenities from the baylis & harding i loved. Parking was plentiful」

「Practicle functional no fuss」

「Clean」

「No toilet facilities since we were allocated the room. No flushing toilet all stay. Was promised it would be looked at, it wasn’t so had to sleep in an unsanitary room! Still awaiting for a part refund (since 3 October)! Avoid!」
