「The staff were exceptionally helpful. The food was excellent. The Lodge itself where you stay needs some tlc on the outside, although the rooms themselves were good and well maintained, if a little dated. The stairs down to the room where I was weren't that great and the entrance to the steps was blocked by a car, so had to squeeze by. A great place. The golf looked good and the swimming pool was excellent although the stairs down were very slippery.」

「It was a great place to stay, the staffs are very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained, towels were changed if needed. Flat TV was working. Room was quiet, fan was provided. Breakfast was not great, full english was the only option, however lots of place to go nearby to eat. Parking was payable, but safe. The beach was very close, in walking distance. Definitely it was a great choice to stay!」

「We chose this hotel because of its fabulous location and the photos on the website, which made it look stylish and inviting. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match our expectations. The hotel itself is looking quite tired and could really do with some refurbishment. We were also looking forward to the food after seeing the menu and photos online, but it turned out there was a new chef and a completely different menu. 「It’s closer to the beach. However the property smells of smoke. It has outdated furniture, carpet and its not clean. Rooms are not ventilated. We were there in summer at 24c and it felt like 40c in the room. I won’t recommend this hotel for family stay. It’s cheap for a reason and good for someone looking for 1 night stay after full day at the beach.」

「Had a wonderful stay at Anchorage, it’s such a fantastic location. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Great communication from the hosts and everything went very smoothly in terms of checking in/checking out. Would definitely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.」
