After check-in, a female staff member wrote down my room number in nearly illegible handwriting, and I made my way to the room. However, the room was under construction, and I could hear voices coming from inside. When I asked the construction worker who emerged whether this was the room number the female staff member had written, he tilted his head and said it was probably wrong, then kindly guided me to the correct room.
I thanked him and entered the room, then sat on the sofa to set up the Wi-Fi — only to encounter another problem. The female staff member's handwriting was so poor that I could not read the password and entered it incorrectly multiple times. Exhausted from the long journey, I eventually gave up and took a nap on the bed.
A few hours later, I woke up to find my wallet missing. I searched the room repeatedly and reported the situation to the front desk, asking them to check the security cameras. At first, a male staff member told me that the cameras had already been checked and there was no issue. He also mentioned that something similar had happened before and the wallet had turned up in the room, dismissing me casually.
