The L hotel staff was pleasant, cordial people friendly, courteous and welcoming. The rooms, vestibule, elevators and hallways were all exceptionally Clean. The food choices were a nice treat too.

Our room was a bit small but clean and the staff very courteous and helpful! The breakfast bar was nice and they allowed us stored our luggage after checkout so we could explore the City more before our flight. The hotel is located just a few blocks from the 36th St. subway stop, a great pizza spot and convenience stores. If you're looking for an affordable nice place to stay in NYC, L Hotel is a great choice!

The walls were a little thin (and my basement floor room came with a scenic view out the window of the rear parking lot), but otherwise it was a clean, comfortable, accommodating stay of acceptable quality and I am completely satisfied. Staff were nice, too; The receptionist helped clear up my booking error over the phone before my arrival.

The room we were given was on “C” floor right next to the breakfast room. It was very noisy and we could hear people coming and going all night. The bed’s mattress was pretty old and hard. Overall the staff were friendly and the location was close to our friend’s house but otherwise I felt the cost of the room was overpriced for what it was.

The staff was great! The stay would have been fine if it was only one night, but 4 nights on that bed requires a chiropractor visit. No frills, very basic room, but the water pressure and heat was great. Good, safe neighborhood. We did breakfast the first day and it wasn’t worth the trip downstairs for the rest of our visit.

Great little place in an unlikely neighborhood. I was in Sunset Park to see a family member at the nearby hospital. Loved free parking, friendly desk guy, comfortable clean room and good bed. Would def stay again if in the area.

Staff were courteous and helpful. Convenient location. Bed and air conditioning were comfy. Shower wasn't the best in terms of water pressure or shower head, and I saw the occasional little bug in the bathroom. Overall, not a bad place. Note I did not take advantage of the breakfast, so I can't properly review that.

If you’re looking for fancy… this isn’t it. If you’re looking for budget friendly, convenient to the subway, close to downtown, small neighborhood.. this IS it. We have stayed twice and can’t wait to go back. The hotel itself is perfect for the price. Free parking is a huge plus. The staff is friendly. The rooms are simple but have very thing you need. The water pressure in the shower… incredible! The neighborhood is my favorite part. We love the pizza from Gravesend, We LOVE LOVE the halal chicken from the Finest Deli. We love bagels from sunset bagels. Stay here. You won’t regret it.
