It’s located a couple of blocks up from Thames Street . . . so close to the “action,” but those couple of blocks bring you to a quiet peaceful spot. One of the things we really like about the Mill Street Inn is having breakfast brought to our room every morning . . . "Francis Malbone House is an oasis in the hubbub of downtown Newport. All the wharves are easily walkable. It was less than 15 minutes to walk to the Elms. On site parking is a huge bonus. Daily breakfast is always delicious. But the best thing about this inn is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. "
