「Very reasonable price but we struggled to find horizontal surfaces on which to place phones, wallets and glasses. A couple of small shelves here and there would be greatly appreciated. 「I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. 」

「I booked a room specifically for the air conditioning on the two hottest nights of the week. I booked the room through Expedia and checked and double checked that the room was listed as having air conditioning. When I arrived I was told the room did not have air conditioning and none were available. I had no other option to stay on such short notice and could not have got a refund anyway as it was booked through a third party. This is completely unacceptable and, quite frankly, unforgivable.」
