「It is perfectly located for the centre of Ripon and the lady checking us in was lovely. The room itself felt and smelt damp, the beds were not very comfortable and we couldn’t cover the window to make it dark which was an issue when getting our 1 year old to sleep. All that being said we would definitely stay there again because it made visiting Ripon on a tight budget possible and if we hadn’t had our daughter with us none of the above would have been an issue. 」

「What an amazing find! we were walking the dales way and had walked from Appetreewick that day, we arrived later than expected. The snug was perfect. checking in was simple and made really easy with great communication. what a lovely property, really well decorated, warm and super clean. really appreciated the crumpets and fruit and loved the bed what a treat after such a tiring day. So happy we booked this instead of the buck inn across the road, we had a meal in there which was fine but the...

「高速道路からかなり離れており、ナビゲーターなしでは、探すのに苦労します。ホテルは古城ホテルの雰囲気を伝え、特に環境が素晴らしかったです。敷地は広大で、野生の鹿が多数棲息し、鷹やミミズクを飼育しているほか、敷地内の池、沼には水鳥が泳ぎ、芝生のいたるところにうさぎが跳ねています。食事、サービスは行き届いていますが、ホテルの部屋の設備は今一つで、冷蔵庫がなく、またバスタブにお湯をいれるのにかなりの時間がかかりました。鍵を部屋の内側からかけられないため、夜9時半を回ってから、ベッドメーキングにハウスキーピングの係りがカギを開けて入って来て、時差ボケで早寝をしていたため、びっくりしました。」

「An excellent stay at The Poplars in Poppys lodge. Amanda was a great host and so easy to communicate with. The Poplars is in a lovely spot with countryside right on the doorstep. The lodge had everything we needed and beds were very comfy. Lovely and clean. Will definitely be back if in this part of Yorkshire again. 」
