「This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. 「泊まった部屋は3階で建物の側面全体を占める広い部屋で、特に居住スペースの配置が面白く窓もたくさんあり、古い良い家具やしつらえをそのまま残しながらうまく利用していてとてもゆったりと過ごせた。マナーハウスが好きでこれまでも数々のマナーハウスに泊まってきたがここもまた建物、環境、庭、ホール、廊下、食堂どれをとってもこれぞマナーハウス！と満足した。スタッフも掃除の人に至るまでホスピタリティにあふれ洗練されていてレベルが高かった。わざわざにでもまたゆっくり過ごしに行きたいホテルのにとつである。」

「We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast made to your order with additional cereal and juice available. The staff were very friendly and concerned about our needs. Car parking was provided at the back. The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. 」

「We were shown to our room which was a good size with a large bathroom. Fresh milk available from the fridge on the landing for a cuppa. We had dinner here,very tasty chicken and salad on flatbread. Our breakfast was also lovely,freshly prepared and good quality. Cereals,juices and toast available along with a full English or other options. 「It was an old building , with character. I was on 2nd floor, quite a way to carry my suitcase, lovely room with nice outlook but the floor was uneven and windows difficult to open due to the age of the building.」
