"We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights in a premiere pool villa for my birthday weekend. Our stay was absolutely perfect. They provided a free shuttle from and to the airport. The staff were also able to communicate in good English and were very polite and accommodating. My fiance was able to surprise me in my room with the help from hotel staff. As for the food, we dined in the Western restaurant (Beach House Restaurant KISSHO). The menu changed slighty every day and they were all very good. They had a good variety of dishes. One chef in particular, Mutty, was very nice and friendly and made us feel at home. They were able to make me a cake (for a fee) and sang me happy birthday in the restaurant. They definitely made me feel special on my birthday :) Our room was also amazing. We had our own private pool and our villa was very spacious. There were some insects in the pool, but that's to be expected when you're in nature. Also, as long as you turn off the lights during the night, there would hardly be any bugs in the pool, which you can also clean with a small net. Everything else in the room was perfect and I honestly could not think of anything that could have been better. Overall, I would definitely book Seawood Hotel again when I come back to Miyakojima."

"Everything is nearly perfect about this establishment, except for prices charged meals. On the island of Miyako, there are tourist prices and those for the locals, and the hotel charges 5,000 yen for a buffet dinner. Yikes. "

"First time visiting Miyako Island and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The hotel staff were exceptional! Extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The food at the hotel was excellent and staff in both restaurants were great. I was there for two weeks, and the shift supervisor was very concerned that I would get tired of the menu and offered several times to prepare something different for me. I speak zero Japanese, but the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and spoke to me in English as much as possible. Not expected from me by any means. One of the best places I have stayed. View from my room will be hard to best in any part of the world. Thanks Hilton Miyako!"

"静かな環境で凄くリラックスできる別荘タイプのホテルです。ベッドルームは天井がガラス張りになっていますが、日よけがないので朝まぶしくて目が覚めてしまいます。その点は改善した方が良いと思います。そのような意味ではメゾネットの和室に布団を用意していただければ更に良いと思いました。"

"The hotel is amazing, staff is amazing, luckily 2 girls could speak Spanish and they assisted me with finding my reservation as they couldn't find it initially and I had to wait for one hour, I don't know if hotels.com did not share the booking information instantly as it was fully paid but at the end I managed to check in."
