Welcome to The Treehouse! A cozy 1-bedroom mountain retreat perched among the trees in scenic Black Hawk, Colorado. While it isn’t literally a treehouse, this second-story sanctuary feels like a private escape, accessible via 16 steps and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Ideal for couples, it blends intimate charm, comfort, and convenience.

Outdoor Spaces: Step onto the deck, your private oasis with a propane grill and a propane fire pit. Downstairs and around the corner, enjoy a soak in the hot tub under the stars!

Inside, the living room exudes warmth with a gas fireplace, oversized chair, and cozy sofa. A streaming HDTV ensures entertainment is always at your fingertips. The space is perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure in the mountains or exploring nearby towns.

The dining area features a unique table crafted from the owner’s boat, creating a cozy spot for intimate meals. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare breakfast, snacks, or dinner.

The queen bedroom, revealed by a sliding barn door, combines elegance with comfort. A full-sized closet provides ample storage, and the adjacent bathroom features a luxuriously tiled shower. For convenience, the in-suite stacked washer and dryer are available for guest use.

Nearby attractions: Just five minutes from Black Hawk and Central City where you can enjoy the array of Casinos, entertainment, and even learn the local history. Explore the quirky mountain town of Nederland just 30 minutes North across the mountain range. Also in Nederland is Eldora Ski Area for winter fun. Just a 45 minute drive down the mountain, you will find the town of Golden. Not far from Golden is where you can attend a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Denver and Boulder are just a 45-minute drive as well, offering additional dining, shopping, and cultural experiences.

Great mountain retreat

We had an amazing stay! The cabin/treehouse was very well appointed with the things we needed to feel at home. The hot tub was fantastic especially after a couple days of skiing and hiking! We would highly recommend!!

Cozy, warm, clean & close to Blackhawk for food and drinks. We had a wonderful time and got to try the hot tub which was awesome at night watching the stars. Highly recommended!

Our contact was so helpful and responsive. Before we arrived we had questions about the area and she gave us lots of helpful suggestions. The place was perfect for us and beautiful, the view and porch/hot tub was perfect. Put us in a great location to get to RMNP, Denver,and Colorado Springs easily.

Quiet Getaway with Mountain Views!

We wanted a secluded quiet spot to enjoy mountain views and we got it! It was a nice spot to relax - very nicely decorated with everything we could possibly need. Also, centrally located to the various trails and mountains we wanted to get to - 1.5 hr to Rocky Mountain National Park, 45 mins to St Mary's Glacier and about that to Mount Blue Sky as well. Only 45 minutes into Golden, which is nice too.

Perfect Getaway

The treehouse is the perfect place for any couple looking to get away. The location is within an hour of many popular cities and scenic drives in all directions. The views from the treehouse are amazing. The property is clean and has all the amenities you need for a perfect stay! We cannot wait to come back!

Top notch communication. Clean, quiet, beautiful location. We are picky about pillows and mattress… these were great! Secluded location with a nice hike up the road to BLM land. Looking forward to coming back!

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle

Cute place centrally located between a number of fun little towns. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable (note it is on the ground level and not on a balcony in case you care) I HIGHLY recommend the BBQ and craft beers at Busey Brews in Nederland, CO. The dry rub wings and brisket are amazing! Pretty view from the living area and balcony.

Enjoyed our stay and SkyRun staff was very attentive. Received a bottle of Prosecco since it was my husband’s birthday. The home has everything you need including coffee and all cooking necessities. We will definitely stay again in the future.

9 Year Anniversary Getaway

The Treehouse was a pleasant getaway and just what we needed for our anniversary. The Treehouse is nestled in a quiet area in the mountains and is nearby many trails. There are also other great nearby attractions like casinos, breweries, and restaurants. Our favorite part of the treehouse was relaxing in the hot tub most mornings and sitting on the deck with a fire at night. We will definitely be returning to the Treehouse in the future!
