This Hotel is wonderful in every way! The staff was very accommodating and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which had a huge balcony, kitchen, 2 baths and a living room. Did I mention 2 TVs! The hotel is located right in the middle of the old town, with easy access to restaurants, cellar bars, bear park, and the river. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, with a Nespresso maker, small refrigerator, and a TV with many international channels. This hotel has a wonderful little garden with flowers right in front of it. A tram and bus station is right opposite of the hotels main entrance door. You will get a free daily city tour ticket from hotel staff as long as you stay there. Breakfast and dinner was absolutely superb. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will always return to the same place while visiting Bern. Bring a good friend with you, because the TV- channels offered are really mad.
