Perfect stay in Berlin!

I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. Right next to the pension there are lots of restaurants, cafĂšs and shops. I would come back next time in Berlin!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Dusche reserviert. Die Dusche war durch eine offene Ecke mit einer Wand im Zimmer integriert und es gab keine Toilette im Zimmer !!!!! Die war dann auf dem Gang, eine Gemeinschaftstoilettte ! Geht garnicht. Die Einrichtung war alt und verwohnt, die Fenster, TĂŒren und Heizung völlig veraltet. Dadurch wirrkte alles unsauber und ungemĂŒhtlich !!!! Nicht wirklich einladend, eher verwohnt und veraltet, einfach schmuddelig !!!! Zum Abgewöhnen............

Ruhige Nacht

Preis-Leistung ist ok aber dafĂŒr sind die Möbel etwas veraltet. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war in Ordnung, ruhige Lage auch ist da versprochen und das stimmt. Nur ich wĂŒrde die Toilette echt vergrĂ¶ĂŸern. Sie war zu klein und zum GlĂŒck gepflegt.

Pillows garbage, rooms dated, even at the budget cost, you can get better for the price. When I booked our first stay, I asked for early check in due to a 13 hour flight, and I was ensured that we could check in at 9am when we arrived, we were made to wait until 2pm for our early check-in. I'm giving this place a miss next time we are in berlin. The only good thing is the location closeness to a train station.

Don’t let the suspicious entry scare you off

A lovely hotel with basic service and standard but with a flair. High ceilings and old-fashioned long drapes. Art and old posters in the dining room and long corridors with carpets. As if from an other era. Some things were broken in my room and fixed with silver tape but the bed was high quality and the water in the shower warm. The hotel is quiet and has 24/7 service.

Hotelli on lÀhellÀ julkisten pysÀkkejÀ/asemia. Lyhyt kÀvelymatka ja olet Alexanderplatzille vievÀn U:n asemalla. Jos ei jaksa kÀvellÀ, menee tuolle asemalle toisen linjan metrolla (asema ohan kulman takana). Juna-asema vastapÀÀtÀ. KÀvelymatkan pÀÀssÀ on KaDeWe ja alueen ostosmahdollisuudet. Itse hotelli kaipaa pÀivitystÀ tÀlle vuosituhannelle. Huone oli iso, meillÀ oli kylpyhuone huoneessa. Kylpyhuone oli varmaan rakennettu myöhemmin ja oli hieman epÀilyttÀvÀ rakennelma. Suihku oli rikki ja ensimmÀisenÀ iltana jÀi suihkut vÀliin. Seuraavana iltana oli jo korjattu. Aamupala oli aika niukka verrattuna suomalaisen hotellin aamupalaan. Mutta kyllÀ sillÀ pÀrjÀsi. Autopaikka oli aika nuhjuisella sisÀpihalla. Mutta paremmalta tuntui jÀttÀÀ auto sinne kuin kadun varteen. HyvÀÀ oli sijainti ja ystÀvÀllinen palvelu, melko hyvÀ aamupala. Huonoa yleisilme ja -kunto. KyllÀ tÀssÀ pari yötÀ nukkuu, mutt pidemmÀksi aikaa etsi muu hotelli. Hinta liian korkea tasoon nÀhden.

Ideal fĂŒr StĂ€dtereisende mit kleinem Geldbeutel

Wer nicht zu viel erwartet ist hier gut aufgehoben. Haltestellen (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Bus) fast vor der HaustĂŒr. Trotzdem der NĂ€he des Bahnhofs Charlottenburg hört man keine ZĂŒge. In der Pension, die in einem Altbau untergebracht ist, ist die Rezeption im ersten Stock ist rund um die Uhr besetzt. Die Leute sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet bietet alles, was Standard ist und sogar am Sonntag frische Schrippen. Das immer ist klein aber sauber. Der StĂ€dtereisende braucht das Zimmer aber sowieso nur zum Schlafen. Ich wĂŒrde fĂŒr eine Berlinreise jederzeit wieder dort buchen. WLAN funktioniert gut.

Gelungener Aufenthalt in Berlin

Die Reise war bereits lange geplant. Wir haben ein Konzert im Olympiastadion besucht. Die Pension ist sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar -gegenĂŒber S-Bahn - trotzdem war es recht ruhig in der Nacht. (keine störenden GerĂ€usche durch den S-Bahn-Verkehr) Und nur 4 Haltestellen vom Olympiastadion entfernt gelegen. Zur BegrĂŒĂŸung gab es ein GetrĂ€nk und die Tickets fĂŒr die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gab es vor Ort inkl. StadtfĂŒhrer. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war inklusiv und war gut. Es gab alles was wir benötigt haben. Alles war sauber. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt- so musste der SchlĂŒssel nicht mitgetragen werden. Die Ausstattung ist ein paar Jahre Ă€lter - was uns nicht gestört hat. Sauberkeit ist wichtiger als neueste Einrichtung. Preis - LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis ist super. Ich wĂŒrde die Pension wieder nutzen.
