"Absolutely amazing 1 night stay. Lovely hotel. Staff amazing. Food wonderful. Try the curries you’ll not be disappointed
Big shout out to the manager James he goes above and beyond to make your stay welcoming and the rest of the staff are fab too. Thank you. Would definitely recommend"
"Very welcoming staff who looked after us for the one night. Food was good and the atmosphere welcoming. Great location for our needs. Will certainly stay again."
"We enjoyed our stay - staff (Rose) was very welcoming and our room was lovely. A very interesting building to poke around in and so incredibly well renovated. The room was chilly and we couldn't figure out how to get more heat, but we didn't ask for help either. Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend!"
"Very clean room. Public areas also very clean. Grounds well maintained. Excellent parking facilities. Staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. I asked for packed lunch instead of breakfast as I was leaving early. This was perfect. Very friendly hotel."
"We had a lovely stay in a family, dog-friendly room. The gentleman on reception was very helpful and friendly. It was peaceful and a lovely location. Great to have an honesty bar option. Could do with a little TLC but we had a good stay!"
Large 11 bedroom, Scottish Highland Lodge Sleeping 18
8/10 Good
"This is a great property with loads of character and staying here is a real traditional Highlands experience. It comfortably accommodates the maximum capacity and the kitchen is large and well equipped.
The only slight drawback was that some of the mattresses could perhaps do with replacing and ideally there would be another walk in shower - although equally having the traditional baths was good.
The location is good - a bit of a drive to most places but then you expect that in this area and the remoteness is part of the appeal.
If you can fill it, the property is also very good value (although it may be somewhat less so if you visit in winter due to the electricity costs)"
