「One of the messages from the property didn't come through, the one that gave decent directions. Several places en route looked like they were the property. It took a while, but we eventually found it. Apparently there's a kitchen on site, but we only found one in the hostel across the street? Had a hard time finding the switch to turn on the hot water, I tried messaging the property, but it was late and I never got a response. 「We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...

「Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. In der alten Molkerei war alles vorhanden was gebraucht wird. Wir haben von dort aus einzelne Tagesausflüge in die Highlands unternommen. Einziger und auch größter Kritikpunkt war der leicht muffige Geruch in der Wohnung. Ich bin nicht sicher ob es nur daran lag, dass es während unseres Aufenthalts sehr viel geregnet hat.」

Wonderful scenery around the village, the gateway to the Isle of Skye 20 minutes away, and what feels like the only chocolaterie in the whole of Scotland within walking distance. 「We absolutely loved our visit to this lovely cottage. There was nothing lacking in terms of our comfort. All of the amenities were in place and it was so easy to become comfortable very quickly. The sheep on the property were simply darling and it was so fun to watch the lambs play, jump and run (within their fenced area) over our meals from the dining room. 「Overall, the stay was great! The house was big and the host provided a lot of extra niceties. 「We had the best week in Scotland and will definitely return. The location of the property is fabulous. The scenery and wildlife were amazing. The Pine Martens came every night for the jam butties and eggs we put out for them. We even saw a Golden Eagle flying overhead. Walk down the path towards the Castle and there are seals on the rocks. Paula could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Sorry we could only stay for a week .」
