"Parking lot needs fresh striping on the parking spaces. Parking is very tight and it would help deter guests from taking more space than needed. Would be nice if Bay Club would enforce parking violators. Parking is not for large pickup trucks or suvs."

"I came to San Diego to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The marina is absolutely beautiful, with fantastic sunsets, and the hotel itself is very comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and a special thank you to Alex at the front desk, who kindly complemented my birthday experience and made my stay even more special. The room was comfortable and quiet, and overall everything was wonderful. If I had to offer one small piece of constructive advice, it would be for travelers looking for a very quiet and relaxing pool experience: you may want to avoid peak vacation periods, as the pool can get quite busy with families and children. Other than that, I truly enjoyed my stay. Beautiful marina, amazing sunsets, great breakfast, comfort, and wonderful memories from my 50th birthday in San Diego. I would definitely come back! ❤️"

"We stayed in a double queen junior suite with Bay view. Stunning. We came in at the height of a heat wave with major humidity which made the room damp. Staff were amazing, brought up.fans, provided free drink tickets. The pools were beautiful. Onsite paddle board rental. Discount tickets to the zoo Everyone was incredible. 10/10"

"We had a nice stay at this hotel. Positives: the hotel room was adequately sized, the room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the hotel parking lot, which always had spaces available and for which there was not a separate fee. We also thought the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We appreciated that our reservation for an ocean view room was honored and that the room had a balcony. The hotel also felt very secure: there are locked doors from the parking lot and from the beach. We loved the location, directly across from the beach and with numerous food establishments within walking distance for meals at all hours. Downsides: the hotel has no sound proofing whatsoever, so we were grateful we brought a sound machine to block the loud music playing from the beach and from nearby bars. We did not use housekeeping services during our stay, so cannot comment on them. The hotel could use a "refresh" especially on outdoor carpeting as it represented a tripping hazard."
