"This seemed like a good location and a nice upmarket looking flat, with quality amenities and furnishings from the advert. We were shocked when we arrived to find the front of the property piled high with garbage. Bags, open food waste, open bins. It smelled horrendous. It was also over 30 degrees C. We were supposed to be in the upper flat, but had been assigned the ground floor flat, whose windows were located over the garbage. The only windows. No air con. No fan inside. It was dark...

"We enjoyed our stay. Only draw backs were the hotel does not have air conditioning and the elevator can only be used to send luggage up and down between floors. We slept with window open which was fine but there was some noise from the street at various times over night. This all said we enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff are great. We would consider staying again next time we are in the area."

"My wife and I recently spent two nights at Bailbrook House Hotel to celebrate her 30th birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Located just outside Bath, the hotel is stylish, beautifully maintained, and lives up to the high standards you’d expect from a Hand Picked Hotel property. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the celebration feel all the more special. Our room was spotless, and having breakfast served in the room was a wonderful treat. I would highly recommend Bailbrook House Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable, high-quality getaway near Bath!"

"Good one night stay. The area is lovely and the building is well maintained. Breakfast was reasonable, chosen from a menu, some of the ingredients felt quite basic, for example the pastrijes served were mini and the yoghurt was low quality and individual pot was served. The bedroom was clean enough but found previous occupants shoes in wardrobe, no apology when presenting these to reception staff. We were directed to a staircase to our bedroom which was on the top floor and a bit of a trek with suitcases, only later did we notice there is a lift. Room was small hut fine for one night and a good base for exploring Bath"

"Overall, we had a good stay. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The only downsides were that the parking was quite expensive, although we managed to find cheaper parking nearby, and the elevator was out of order during our stay. Apart from these minor issues, everything else was good, and we felt the hotel offered fair value. We would be happy to stay here again."
