"I arrived and called the host multiple times and every time they say they will come in few minutes... I waited more than an hour and finally no one came. They just sent me the code to smart lock... I don't understand why they didn't send it from beginning!! The taxi left me because she couldn't wait anymore so I had to drag my luggage up as the room was the last building up the hill!! "Centara Grand Karon Beach has a beautiful setting overlooking the beach, it is well equipped for families with young kids from preschool to tweens offering shallow pools, lazy river, modest water slides and an adrenalin inducing rock jump. The rooms are very pleasant with great ocean views and there is also an adults only pool. Food wise it is pretty good, the Thai food was our favourite but European seafood, Western kids favourites and some Indian food is on offer. The resort makes an effort to mix things up with night"street food" markets but get in early for those else it's not worth it (ie if back later from a day trip). It's a great place to laze, keep kids occupied and there are plenty of day trip options. If you want to save a bit of cash you can eat very cheaply in the nearby town, also suggest to organise your own transfers and tours as the mark-ups they have through their tours desk are ridiculous. Overall it is a great resort, we enjoyed it and would happily stay at Centara group resorts again."

"Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans une chambre prenium. Accueil incroyable, on vous conduit dans votre chambre avec une voiture de golf . La chambre est incroyable, douche extérieure, baignoire intérieur. De plus une corbeille de fruits nous attendait. Les extérieurs de l hotel sont magnifiques. 2 piscines dint une avec un bar et les prix sont accessibles. Le petit déjeuner est inclus et il est incroyable : bar a sauce, bar a donuts, bar a pad thai, bar a omelette. Y en a pour tous les goûts."

"Perfect location between nature, the beach, and Patong I really enjoyed staying at Avista Hideaway. The location was one of the best parts of the hotel. It feels peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, but Patong Beach, restaurants, and nightlife are still nearby. I especially loved being able to hike from the hotel area toward Freedom Beach. During the day, I could enjoy a beautiful, quieter beach and nature, and at night I could easily go into Patong. Phuket was also a great base for island-hopping trips, so there was always something different to do. The location gave me the perfect balance: relaxing and secluded without feeling too far away from everything. I would definitely stay here again."
