"Highview is a quiet property but still close to the center. The kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for and my family and me very much enjoyed staying there. It's very spacious, so everyone can be in their own room or we can all hang out in the living room, enjoy the free Netflix and spend time together. We had an amazing time, Gina was very helpful regarding recommendations for dinner and what to do in the area. Will definitely come back! "

"We came back to this property as we found it such a lovely place to stay. The owner is very welcoming, the property is clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also quite centrally located; Cairns is about 20 minutes, the Atherton tablelands about an hour and the daintree about an hour and a half away- all easy day trips. "Our stay here was pleasant . Good pressure from the shower , the aircon was perfect as the temperatures often reached mid/high 20s outside . The owners were lovely people and very accommodating to our requests etc . Within 5 minutes walk to eateries and convenience stores . If you are wanting a ground floor unit then please directly call the Hotel in person as this is the best way to make sure your requests will be heard . Laundry is $3 au for a wash and $3 for a dry . "1人部屋に2泊しましたが、毎朝5:30くらいに外の木の鳥が鳴き続けるのでよく寝れませんでした。 部屋の窓がお風呂などにあるルーバー窓なので密閉されないので騒音がひどいです。 また冬は隙間風がかなり入るので寒いです。 ただし、その他は快適でキッチンも広く、スタッフの人が気さくで親切だったのでよかったです。 騒音がきにならない人は、安くて過ごしやすいところだと思います。 ロケーションはとてもいいです。"

It would appear that cleanliness and maintenance are not a priority anymore. Tried to contact the host but received no response. BBQ under house no gas and no lighting so unable to use. Not enough cutlery for our family to all use at the same time. No cleaning products available for us to clean, except a vacuum cleaner with missing parts.. On arrival dirty...

"If you love nature, you will love The Canopy! We spotted a platypus on the first day and a cassowary on our way out! The birds are beautiful and the turtles plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful. They even built a fire for us on a cool day. Loved every minute of our time there. "
