I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. "Dont compare the surrounding area with the hotel itself. The hotel is very nice and clean. its like a block away from the JR Hakata Station and maybe 10 minutes taxi ride from the Fukuoka International Airport. I should have done more homework on places in the vicinity to eat at. Right next door out of the hotels from entrance is a LAWSONS. Theres a bunch of eateries at the JR Hakata Station. The hotel staff was accomodating."
