"Reasonable rates, large rooms, free parking and wonderful staff. Why would anyone stay in downtown Fukuoka in tiny rooms with no service when this place is only a 30- minute drive to Fukuoka airport? It’s also near Dazaifu Tenmangu and some local restaurants. Great stay."

"I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. I was very unimpressed by their business ethics...

"The Hinanosato was renovated about 6-8 years ago and it is an amazing place to stay - the decor is heavy on 60's themes which gives it a mellow / laid back feel. The staff are great, the breakfasts were wonderful and our room had a spectacular view of the Mikuma river. Parking on site is very limited but they have a couple parking lots nearby that can be used. Highly recommend this hotel!"
