"Great hotel with great facilities. Free shuttles available to and from the slopes. Individual locker’s provided if you are bringing your own snowboards/skis. Drying room you can use. Self laundry/dryer facilities available to use. Onsen free to use after each day on the slope. We also booked a massage with Lily for last night and she was fantastic together with an aromatherapy treatment. They also provide Yamato Black cat service from the hotel so I can send your bulky snowbag straight to the airport so you don’t have to lug it around whilst you continue exploring other parts of Japan."

"The hotel staff and people were spectacular! Breakfast was traditional Japanese style food, which may or may not suit westerners. Hotel is a bit dated and it shows. Our room was clean upon arrival; however, we encountered bugs and mosquitoes inside our 3rd floor room. This didn’t particularly bother us, but it may have an impact on other guests. There’s also not a lot to do, activity wise around this hotel. I would highly recommend renting a car (prior to arriving at Keisui) or else you may suffer from boredom during the day. If you didn’t rent a car, take advantage of their daily shuttle service at 10am, which takes you to Shinano-Omachi Station. From there, you can either tour the cute city or rent an e-bike and go sightseeing. "

"Location, location, location! Love that the hotel property is immediately next to the train station, but extremely quiet. I've started there a dozen times, and always requested the side facing the mountains, which makes me happy because it's absolutely peaceful. Quite 2 convenience stores and 2 supermarkets full of ready-to-eat meals within quick walking distance for budget meals. Best of all, getting to the train station is absolutely easy."
