"Beautiful property with stunning views from the restaurant and bar area. Dinners and breakfasts were exceptional. We booked a basic room and were upgraded to a room with a view of The Remarkables which was beautiful and extremely comfortable."

"We were very disappointed. We thought we were getting a lakeview room but the listing is misleading and we had a room with no view, couldn’t even see the mountains as it was like a basement standard room. Wifi was working, the stopper in the bathroom sink didn’t work and we had to walk a long distance on a rock walk path to get to our room. Then we got an upgrade for the next night for a lakeview room which was quite expensive. The view was great and the suite large but otherwise was very disappointing The bathroom had hair on the floor and no stopper for the tub and the underside of the toilet seat had urine stains! The fireplace didn’t work properly. Don’t stay there, not worth it!!!!"

"Everything very nice - my only criticism was that at breakfast (if you had chosen an inclusive option) you could only choose between a tea or a juice - if you wanted one or the other you had to pay for it, this was the same with for example if you wanted an egg with your breakfast. That felt a bit mean. Otherwise a great stay."

"No air conditioning, room was very warm and street noise loud so leaving the window open at night was problematic. We didn’t see that there was a fan in one of the closets until we were leaving which would have been helpful. "

"Why was the spa seat facing the wall and not the lake? Seems like a dumb decision to miss out on the view."
